Welcome back to the weekly roundup of Fort Bend food news.  There’s lots to report this week, so let’s get started! 

As I mentioned yesterday, the Houston Press food blog, Eating…Our Words, wrote a not-so-stellar review of Ragin Cajun in Sugar Land.

Chron.com confirms what we already know — the restaurant business in Sugar Land is booming and bringing lots of great options out to the ‘burbs.  There is a particular discussion about Blu and the story of its success.

Fort Bend Lifestyles and Homes brings us a wine review from wine expert Denman Moody, featuring Handley wines.

Katy Lifestyles and Homes shared some delicious recipes for brunch and dessert.  Those muffin cups sure look yummy to me!

Fort Bend Focus magazine’s “new neighbor” column spotlights several new area eateries: All About Cakes, Blu, The Teacake Factory, and The Great W’Kana.  Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these.

Rosenberg recently played host to Whataburger’s biggest fans, according to the Fort Bend Herald.  Did you notice that they even have orange shoelaces in their tennis shoes?  Cuteness!
